Not So Frequently Asked Questions

1.

I want to buy a 4-issue subscription, but what happens if you go bust!
The company publishing ImagiNAILtion has sufficient funds in hand to run the magazine for a minimum of 12 months without any customers or advertisers.

Payments received from subscription customers will not be used until their subscription period ends. If some unpredictable event occurs which means we have to stop, all subscribers who are owned money will be paid from these reserve funds.

2.

How can I be sure that I will receive my magazines?
It would destroy our reputation if you don't. We've invested many years of dedicated effort to build our personal and business reputations. We're old fashioned enough to believe a person is as good as their word.

3.

Can I return the magazine and get a refund?
We only provide refunds for the electronic version of the magazine. However, please note that we will only do this one time for each customer and that you will not be able to continue to read that magazine after we provide the refund. To obtain a refund you must email bob@irynagiblett.com within 3 days of receiving the magazine.

4.

Why don't you allow us to print the electronic magazines?
The reason that we can't allow this is because then it would be possible to print this at photographic quality, scan it and then put it up on the internet for free, or print magazine copies and sell them. It's more difficult to achieve a good quality if you try to do this with a printed magazine.

5.

The DVD doesn't work

The DVD has been filmed in High-Definition that gives the highest quality image. Not all DVD players are new enough to accept this, so we recommend that you watch the DVD using your PC or Mac. If this still doesn't work, please contact us for further advice.

6.

I've lost my download version of the magazine because of a computer crash

Please contact us and we will re-send the files you need.

7.

If my work is published will I get paid?

Err, no. You will receive six copies of the magazine and a nice fuzzy feeling that may even last for several weeks when you see your work in our beautiful magazine. If it helps you any, we don't get paid either - we do this for the love of the industry.

8.

Who owns the copyright of the images we send you?

You or your photographer does, the copyright laws are different in each country. The only thing that changes when you send us us your images is that the copyright holder gives us permission to print the images in our magazine and perhaps use them to promote the magazine. Whenever we use your images you will be credited.
